Description
Nehalem Falls Campground provides tranquil camping opportunities along the Nehalem State Scenic Waterway. Located approximately 10 miles east of Wheeler, the campground provides 14 first-come-first-served drive-in campsites, 6 walk-in first-come-first-served campsites, and 1 reservable group site. A short ¾ mile hiking trail circumnavigates the campground and leads through a stand of old growth Sika spruce and western hemlock. Views of the river corridor as well as Nehalem Falls, a low falls surrounded by a basalt ledge are plentiful.Facilities:
